Sponsors in 2020
The Sherwood Community Festival was first organised in 1995 by a small group of Sherwood Road traders as a promotion of their shopping precinct.
A hearty thank you goes to all our past sponsors who continue the tradition. From a handful of stalls we have grown to more than 100, with an attendance of about 10,000 visitors.
This award-winning festival draws a wide demographic from a catchment area that encompasses from Chelmer to Oxley, and neighbouring districts.
We gratefully thank our main Festival Sponsor, Brisbane City Council, for their ongoing funding support and for their understanding of the importance of community interaction.
The Sherwood Community Festival offers the following sponsorship proposals:
Donations - up to $249 (including goods and services)
For your donation you will receive acknowledgement on our website and on our Facebook page. Any contributions such as raffle donations, stall fees or business services, do not necessarily qualify as sponsorships.
Silver sponsorship - $250 to $999
Silver sponsors will receive acknowledgement of our appreciation on the big screen on the night, a participation certificate, a mention of gratitude on the Sponsor’s page of our website and our Facebook page.
Gold sponsorship - $1000 to $2999
Name will appear on the big screen, on the flyer (which is delivered to all residents within a 1 km radius of the Sherwood shopping precinct), on the Sponsor’s page of our website and on our Facebook page. You will receive a stall at no charge. We will provide an Agreement Form to be signed. You will also be eligible for Reverse Sponsorship (use of the Sherwood Community Festival logo on your marketing material, subject to approval, for one year.
Only two are accepted as a ‘presenting partners’ of our festival, for contributions of $3000 or more. They will be accorded all the aforementioned acknowledgements, but in addition will have banners and stage backdrops, media publicity in articles and broadcasts, social website publicity, prominent positioning of logo on our website and on the flyer's front page, plus preferential placement of a stall.
Committee members will be collecting sponsorship fees during August. We thank you in advance to help fund Public Liability Insurance, Road Closure Permits, Entertainment Event Permits and many other costs associated with providing such a great festival.
