For the first time, the popular Sherwood Community Festival is coming to Sherwood Arboretum on Saturday 10 December between 3.00 pm and 7.00 pm.
To celebrate the occasion, the Friends of Sherwood Arboretum is offering a ‘festival special’ – your opportunity to become a member and help preserve and protect Brisbane’s unique Botanic Garden of Australian native trees.
Today, with its valued botanical collection of over 1100 trees, Sherwood Arboretum is both a wonderful green space to relax in, unwind and enjoy and a fascinating place for discovery, learning, conservation and protection.
Your support is essential to the success of over a decade of ongoing advocacy with Brisbane City Council to ensure this botanic treasure has a bright and sustainable future well after the Arboretum celebrates its centenary in 2025.
